Job

At work, I was scheduled to work this whole week. On Sunday, I received a phone call from Ashley, the scheduler. Ashley said I was canceled for Monday because there was a shortage in cars. Today, she called me again because I got cancelled for Tuesday.

I was cancelled for two days in a row now. I wonder if there is a real shortage in cars since the number of cars that need to be tested has increased. I knew it was to good to be true. Before I was only working Sunday and Wednesday, when all of a sudden I get scheduled to work 40 hours a week.

    That's kind of mean to get your hopes all up to get some hours and make some good money. That used to happen to me when I was working at Bath and Body Works. One week I got scheduled 25 hours (and that was a big deal for me) but I went in twice and got sent home. I didn't even get a phone call!!
